VIDEO>>Frozen Water Pipes Demand Hot Response

Published

on

It’s going to be another cold one tonight. How can you help get your pipes through the freezing temperatures?
Even our Oxford aldermen are aware of the challenging situation that has led to a rash of frozen water pipes and emergency calls to the plumber.
Alderman Jay Hughes put out this email:

Oxford has experienced multiple broken water lines over the past few days.  As of this email, city crews are working just off the square behind Southbank repairing one.  Water is off to portions of the square.  There is another break awaiting the crews on South Lamar within a few feet of the one repaired yesterday. Please check for updated on the status on the Oxford homepage, twitter and Facebook.

Keep warm!
