N126.04W05W
At this time, all Oxford School District schools are open.
All after-school tutoring is cancelled this afternoon. Forecasts of snow and ice for tomorrow may result in a decision later today on whether to close school for tomorrow.
OSD officials released the following statement this afternoon:
“Oxford school officials will follow established emergency weather procedures. The safety of students is first priority. During inclement weather, our schools take every precaution to protect our students.
Any weather notifications will be shared through our automated call system (phone messaging system) and local media outlets. We will also use our website (www.oxfordsd.org), social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter (@OxfordSD), and the Oxford School DIstrict e-newsletter to provide weather-related information.”
