OSD logo
Oxford School District officials report that the Oxford High School cafeteria wing was evacuated this afternoon as part of school emergency procedures because of a fire.
The Oxford Fire Department and Oxford Police Department were called to the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but school officials believe a faulty motor in a kitchen appliance is the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported at this time.
