The monthly meeting of the Lafayette Master Gardener Association is one you won’t want to miss. The meeting, at 3:30 p.m. Monday, will be at the Oxford Conference Center. Speaker M. Franz Schneider, a member’s husband, will present “Do you have a green thumb or Carpal Tunnel?”
Gardening is a wonderful way to relax, and to create a more attractive and pleasant atmosphere in her home or neighborhood. And basic gardening skills can start you on the road to growing your own vegetables and flowers.
The LMGA hosts seven educational meets each year and events. The group also maintains landscaping in several area locations. The group is organizing the state of Mississippi 2014 Conference & Garden Expo on May 20-22, and this is a great way to get involved. The meeting is free and open to the public.
