Spring Fashion Update: Bohemian Style
The adjectives that first come to mind when I think of Spring are crisp, fresh, cheerful and vibrant to only name a few.
To me, and I am sure to many others, visions of Spring are associated with running through a field of flowers barefoot, feeling healthy and alive. So, as freezing and gray days are being replaced with warm and sunny ones, it is the perfect time for fashionistas to express these happy feelings through style.
Boho-chic is one trend that seems to never go away, year after year. Originally inspired by European gypsies, Bohemian style is the epitome of looking and feeling free. This style is represented by bright colors, flowing silhouettes, and gives off an effortless vibe.
To try out this look, start out by wearing a pair of cut off jean shorts with a loose, billowy top or a maxi skirt with a bold pattern. There really are no defining rules for this style! In fact, Bohemian style is more of a lifestyle than a trend.
3 Chicks, located inside the Sugar Magnolia Antique Mall, is a line that really captures the Bohemian spirit. The clothing line is represented by pretty maxi dresses in airy fabrics and loose fitting tunics in a myriad of colors.
And keeping with the Bohemian theme, 3 Chicks offers a wide variety of hair accessories, ranging from head bands to colorful cowboy hats, and even home decor! Two of my favorite items would have to be the colorful, bejeweled chandelier and the giant dream catcher made out of lace and ribbon.
3 Chicks makes it possible for all gypsies at heart to channel their Bohemian essence everywhere they go, whether it be out on the street or in the comfort of their homes. Bohemian style is all about making your day-to-day look uncomplicated and easy, so chances are all fashionistas out there already have something in your closets that you can just throw on and pull off this look!
This Spring, try not to stress about what you are going to wear and just go with the flow.
