2012-02-05 07.29.15
The starting line for today’s races.

It was a glorious day and the runners in the Double Decker 5k, and 10K runs made the most of it.
The 5K winner was Joseph Goetz of Chatanooga, Tenn., a financial consultant and avid runner.
“It was pretty exhausting but I had great fun out there. The toughest part of the race was coming up that big hill on campus,” he said. “I came here because I heard this was a great race and I’m visiting an awesome friend.”
Chad Berry, an Ole Miss grad, won the 10K run for the second year in a row and and his brother Vann Berry was also a top finisher.
