Oxford's First Ever Color Run was Huge Success
On Saturday, more than 500 Oxonians participated in the first ever Color Invasion 5K in Oxford. They showed up in mostly white, some in colorful tutus, hair bows and/or knee socks, but all left looking like rainbows. Even our assistant editor Kate Wallace and her family ran (but, mostly walked) the 3.1 miles through colorful powder.
The event raised more than $17,000 on Saturday for the Mississippi Alzheimer’s Association and hope to raise $13,000 more for the annual North Mississippi Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 20 in Hernando, Miss.
HottyToddy.com rock star intern Sam Mitchell was there to document the entire event on video!
