The first man in a girl’s life is her daddy, and the impression he makes will last a lifetime.

Chick-fil-a is hosting the third annual Princess Ball to bring dads and daughters together for a night of family fun.

This year’s Princess Ball is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 9 and 10 at The Lyric Oxford. Tickets are $15 per person or $40 per family, regardless of the number of princesses in tow. Last year, hundreds of daddy and daughter couples packed The Powerhouse for a night of fun for the girls and a night of bonding for the families, and Chick-fil-a West Jackson owner Lance Reed expects the turn out this year to be even bigger.

“We want to have a positive impact on families and invest in walking in the lives of their daughters,” Reed said.

The event, sponsored by Holli’s Sweet Tooth, Oxford Floral, Home Depot, Rebel Kids Club and the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, is a great night out for all the girls and their main man just before Valentine’s Day.
