Leadership Lafayette Scavenger Hunt Stops at HottyToddy.com

From left, Ben Busching, Jennifer John, Julia Winston, Brooke Reeves and Kristina Phillips visited HottyToddy.com as part of the LOU Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lafayette scavenger hunt.

Teams ran around Oxford Friday afternoon on a scavenger hunt at local Oxford businesses to learn things about Oxford they never knew for the Lafayette County and Oxford Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lafayette program.

Based on a clue about what company donates to the Meek School of Journalism and New Media, one team found the HottyToddy.com office on Jackson Avenue. Julia Winston, Ben Busching, Brooke Reeves, Jennifer John and Kristina Phillips turned the tables on our staff, interviewing the editors and reporters who put together HottyToddy.com and Experience Oxford magazine as part of their orientation for the program.

The team’s mascot, Hermie the Hedgehog, accompanied them on their journey.
The team also figured out the clue for Square Books.
The five emerging leaders also knocked off the Lafayette County courthouse during the scavenger hunt.
