Oxford Celebrates 6 Charger State Champions, Honors Senior Student-Athletes
The Oxford Charger Athletics Booster Club in conjunction with the Oxford School District will host a rally for its Mississippi Class 5A State Championship teams and its outgoing senior athletes. The celebration which will be held on the Oxford Square next to City Hall from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and will include the Oxford High School Band.
“Coming off the heels of a great State Championship win by our Baseball team, we wanted to find a way to celebrate all of our Oxford State Championships,” said Geoffrey Yoste, Booster Club Board Member. The other state champions include boys cross country, powerlifting, boys track and boys and girls tennis.
