Hit a Home Run for Special Olympics

website_graphicUniversity of Mississippi head baseball coach Mike Bianco will play alongside NFL legend Brett Farve, Gov. Phil Bryant and several other well-known Mississippians in the annual “Hit a Home Run for Special Olympics” charity softball game benefitting Special Olympics Mississippi.

Special Olympics athletes from across the state will take the field alongside their heroes during the event. The athletes will be split into two teams, the Hometown Heroes and the Braves.

The game is set for 5 p.m. Aug. 21 at Trustmark Park in Pearl. Tickets are $10 for seating on the baselines beyond the dugouts and $15 for premium seating behind the dugouts. All ticket sales will benefit Special Olympics Mississippi and also include admission to the Mississippi Braves game that evening.
