Adoptive Pet of the Month_Slider_Gus

Ever heard of the internet sensation, Nala Cat? Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society has its equivalent of that adorable mix: Gus.

Gus is a kitten around 10 months old. His rescuer surrendered him to the OLHS after finding him as a stray on Harris Drive just off Jackson Avenue West.

Despite being found in the streets, Gus is an affectionate, house-trained kitten. He meows softly to point of nearly squeaking. Gus is in good health so he has plenty of energy, perfect for a little pep to anyone’s homes and lives.

Gus is a curious kitten through and through.

Zarabeth Childress, an OLHS volunteer who enjoys socializing with the cats, said, “He’s a very sweet, very nice kitten!”

His adoption fee is $100, including neuter surgery, feline vaccinations, a dewormer, Feline Leukemia testing and a microchip along with a month of tick, flea and heartworm preventative along with a month-long 24PetWatch Pet Insurance.
