The Blake at Oxford Hosted Wine Social for Professionals

The Blake at Oxford hosted a “Wine Social for Professionals” Thursday to show the community and surrounding areas Oxford’s newest assisted living and memory care facility. Jim McArthur, executive director of The Blake, led the guests on a tour of the lovely new retirement community. Guests were absolutely intrigued by the intricate designs of each room inside The Blake.

Laura Barber, director of sales, said she was mostly excited about how the event would benefit the residents.

“It was an opportunity for anybody that offers services or benefits for seniors to meet other professionals, peers of theirs,” Barber said. “So, we can be assured that we are meeting the needs of seniors and helping each other provide services and care for the population. We’re excited with what we have to offer Oxford. It’s a grand thing.”
