Today was a festive day in Oxford as the Ole Miss fans celebrated yet another impressive National Signing Day for the Rebels.
HottyToddy.com contributor Steve Vassallo asked these faithful Rebel fans to share their thoughts on the National Signing Day.
David McCullough (UM ’82) said, “A lot of games were won for Ole Miss today! I am very excited about this class. The class is chocked full of highly talented skill players and “trench” players that are the unsung heroes. Coach Hugh Freeze continues to outwork his peers. THE JOURNEY CONTINUES! Hotty Toddy!”
Scott Martinez, president of North Louisiana Economic Partnership, said, “I firmly believe that the quality of the student athlete that chooses to play football at Ole Miss on National Signing Day is a barometer of Ole Miss’ future success in football. I came to Oxford from Shreveport to be here for National Signing Day. Ole Miss football starts with recruiting and fortunately Coach Freeze and his staff are the best in the college football.”
Janet McCarty, owner and CEO of Cotton’s Cafe Dog Treat Barkery, said, “I am thrilled to be a part of signing day for Ole Miss. The energy and enthusiasm in the room is electric. I am proud to support such an amazing athletic program. We have a great year ahead and Cotton said she smells a national championship! There really isn’t much I love more than God, Dogs and Ole Miss Football!”
Norma McCullough, realtor with Crye-Leike Realtors, said, “National Signing Day at Ole Miss feels like Christmas morning! Coach Freeze and staff have done an amazing job. We have four 4 star receivers along with a 5 star quarterback. The future looks bright.
