James Chambers Funeral to be Held Tuesday, March 22
Funeral and service arrangements have been released for James “Jim” Chambers, associate dean of research and graduate programs with the School of Engineering at Ole Miss, who died tragically in an early morning house fire on Sunday, March 13.
Chambers’ funeral will be held tomorrow – Tuesday, March 22 – in the Gertrude Ford Center theater at 4 p.m. The service is expected to be an hour in length and attendees are welcome to wear casual attire as family members and friends will be sporting Hawaiian shirts or Scouting clothing in honor of Mr. Chambers.
HottyToddy.com would like to remind the community that a GoFundMe account page (GoFundMe/Chambers) has been set up to help the Chambers family offset expenses associated with funeral, temporary living, cancer treatments, general living and rebuilding costs. A nice portion of the initial monetary goal has been raised over the past week, but the Chambers’ needs are great and they still have a great deal of rebuilding to do.
For those who would like to help, visit GoFundMe/Chambers where you can donate any amount. All gifts are greatly needed (and appreciated) during this traumatic time in the Chambers family’s life.
