Ahead of tomorrow’s game, take a look at some of our favorite Egg Bowl moments from the Freeze era. Comment below and tell us your favorite Egg Bowl Moments!
- Jaylen Walton’s Miraculous TD Run in 2014
Up 17-10 and backed up deep in their own territory, the Rebel offense needed a score to pad their lead heading into the fourth quarter. A toss to Jaylen Walton looked as if it was defended perfectly by the Bulldog defense until Walton reversed field. In the words of Verne Lundquist “Oh my goodness!”

2. Tony Bridges Pick-Six in 2015
Trailing 14-0 on Senior night, Dak Prescott was looking to lead the Bulldogs on a drive to get his team back in the game. With pressure in his face, Prescott tried to force the ball downfield, but instead found Tony Bridges, who took it back for a TD and widened the Rebel lead to 21-0.

3. Moncrief’s 2012 Performance
Feed Moncrief was clearly the gameplan for Bo Wallace and the Rebels in 2012 with bowl eligibility on the line. Wallace and Moncrief connected 7 times for 173 yards and 3 TDs. The biggest one of the night was a 77 yarder, to give the Rebels a 17-14 lead. We couldn’t pick a favorite play from this one, so here’s the full highlight to help you relive Freeze’s first Egg Bowl win behind Moncrief’s career night.
