Aaron Parker is originally from Nettleton, Mississippi, and April Rodgers is originally from Saltillo, Mississippi. Aaron and April met three years ago from a mutual friend. This was their first year having season tickets and going to the Grove every home game.
Aaron proposed to his girlfriend in the Grove, but in a very unique way. While the couple was at the egg bowl Saturday, the tent next to them asked them to practicipate in a mannequin challenge, but little did April know, her boyfriend had a master plan to propose to her.
“Ever since the mannequin challenges have become popular I’ve been wanting to do one,” April said. “We had been joking that day about our poses, and he said he was going to pretend to propose, and I was gonna take a selfie like it wasn’t a big deal for humor of the video.”
His cousin and her friend had the ring, and while recording, placed it in his hand for the perfect outcome!
