The Hamilton family is from Pontotoc, and they recently adopted their fourth child. They have three biological children, but wanted one more child. They found an organization that helped them find the fourth.
They saw Maddox for the first time about a year ago through photos and knew immediately that he belonged in their family. The adoption process took about a year, which is a lot faster than most adoptions, and they felt lucky it happened so fast.
When they were able to finally bring Maddox home, everyone gathered at Memphis International Airport to greet their new family member. Maddox was very calm, but was so happy to meet his new siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
