A man accused of having sexual relations with a female juvenile in Lafayette County was recently arrested in Memphis.
Oxford Police Department responded to a residence Wednesday, April 24 for an argument between family members. When they responded, officers learned of a sexual relationship between a female juvenile and Antoine Kearney, 30, of Memphis.
OPD then issued an arrest warrant for Kearney for statutory rape. The Memphis Police Department and the United State Marshal Task Force arrested Kearney in Memphis and brought him back to Oxford May 22.
A justice court judge set Kearney’s bond at $100,000.
