On October 27, 2012, John and Sarah Wheat were driving home when their car was struck by a black Tahoe that was driven by 21 year old John Howard Strickland Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. John and Sarah were both tragically killed in the accident and on Monday, Strickland plead guilty to one count of aggravated DUI. He was sentenced to 25 years with 13 suspended.
