Summer Sunset Series Returns to Fill Sundays with Soulful Sounds

The Summer Sunset Series kicks off this weekend, giving families and friends a perfect way to wind down in the Grove on Sundays in June.

11011298_962677570433451_5095277641788444940_nSponsored by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, the concerts combine the beauty of a Mississippi summer with the soulful sounds of live music streaming from the Grove stage.

June 7: Black Water Trio (acoustic)

June 14: The Valleymen (classic R&B/soul rockabilly)

June 21: Jake Xerxes Fussel (folk/American)

June 28: Bryan Hayes (Blues)

All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are free to the public and family-friendly. The June 7 concert will also overlap with the YAC’s membership picnic from 6 to 8 p.m.
