Top 5 Fashion Trends For Fall Right Now:
.Suede- Suede is popping up everywhere. Dresses, leggings, skirts, and even button downs. Everything Boho and 1970s style is on trend for fall. Mixing suede with plaid gives a 2015 spin on both wardrobe staples. Suede fringe vests, paired with a plaid button down and riding boots would be a cute and fun outfit to take photos in the pumpkin patch with, or wear to a laid back and casual Thanksgiving meal.
.Leather- Two ideas come to mind when thinking about leather: motorcycle gangs or rock star groupies. However, leather is very versatile and can be perfect for a night out on the square. Leather leggings have been on the scene for a while, but recently the demand for them has left stores like Nordstrom and Target sold out.
.Fringe and Lace Detailing- Fringe is a classic Bohemian style. Grab a fringe cross body bag & you’re good to go for fall. Lace detailing makes a “girly but chic” statement and can make an otherwise plain shirt “pop.” Peasant and poet tops paired with boot cut jeans are a really popular look right now.
.Ankle booties- Lately these have expanded to all shapes, sizes and colors. The great thing about ankle booties is that they are timeless (pair them with skinny jeans now, or wear with dresses in the summer) Ankle booties are great for the Grove, and great for the square when you want to give your feet a break from chunky wedges and heels.
.Faux fur vests & Felt floppy hats- Of course the Ole Miss classic staple has made the list. A few years ago, it was a struggle to find faux fur vests. Now, you can find them almost anywhere. Another great accessory for winter activities around Oxford is the felt floppy hat! Camel or black would go with everything, while a red would look great in the Grove on Saturdays. Wear both together for a classic and chic look.
