Oxford Crime Report: Monday, December 28

Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three suspicious persons, two petit larceny, two 911 hang-up calls, an ambulance assist, a careless driving, a runaway juvenile, an open door, an identity theft, a grand larceny, a civil matter and a domestic disturbance.

Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 9 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges:
Warrant served
Misdemeanor shoplifting
Suspended driver’s license
Careless driving with possession of drug paraphernalia

University police reports no emergencies nor incidents on campus.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Smoke detector activation at 8:17 a.m. and 8:58 a.m. by water leaking onto it at the Buffalo Wild Wings – the detector was removed on the second call
Person stuck on an elevator at 1:07 p.m. at Lamar Hall
