The 2016 version of the Oxford Craft Beer Festival cranks up this Saturday, March 5, at the Library Sports Bar just off the Oxford Square. Hundreds are expected to attend and enjoy local and regional craft beers.

An annual favorite of the festival is the beer and food pairings, which will be held for VIP ticket holders only from 11 a.m. – noon. All portions of a meal – appetizer, entrée and dessert – will be represented and paired with a particular beer flavor by the experts. General admission ticket holders can begin the festivities after the food parings at noon.
Another crowd favorite, the traditional pretzel necklace contest, will also be held at this year’s festival. As always, the crowd rather than a panel of judges determines the winner.
The Oxford Craft Beer Festival is a great chance to taste a variety of beers – over 140 of them in fact – meet and chat with individual brewmasters, listen to live music and even check out a few arts and craft vendors.
