Straight Outta Oxford: Beloved Yalobushwhackers Keep the Heat On

Straight outta Oxford; Thacker Mountain Radio’s house band, the Yalobushwhackers, have a full-fledged gig tonight at the Shelter on Van Buren. The beloved Oxford band is scheduled to play from 7-9 p.m. and tonight’s cover is “pay what you can.”

Thacker Mountain Radio’s executive producer, Kathryn McGaw York, proclaimed today via Facebook: “All Yalobushwhackers – All the Time!”

Plan now to join band frontman John Paul Keith, versatile drummer Wallace Lester; pianist Mark Yacavone; and bassist Slade Lewis as they rock the Shelter on this beautiful Thursday – staying active even though Thacker Mountain Radio is on hiatus for the next few months locally.

Head to the Shelter tonight and get your Thacker fix because who knows when your next chance may be.
