Code Enforcement, Harassment and More in Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, ambulance assist, careless driving, code enforcement, two disturbing the peace, k9 search, larceny-auto, two motorist assist, other agency assist, two petit larceny, phone harassment, recovered property, scam, two suspicious activity, suspicious person, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  five accident, 16 tickets and made the following arrests:
DUI 1st, Leaving the scene of an accident
Public Drunk
Two Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Seven alarms, animal complaint, two disturbances, grand larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, seven service calls, suspicious activity, six welfare concerns, two transports, two follow-ups, traffic complaint, fraud, littering/dumping, civil matter, recovered stolen vehicle.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
Fire report from Wednesday will be released on Friday
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Six vehicle stops, vandalism to a vehicle, accident property damage, harassing phone calls, other forms of harassment.
