For artists in Oxford, Lafayette County, Ole Miss and across North Mississippi, the event offers a chance to connect with statewide arts leaders and fellow creatives outside their usual circles. Programs like this can be especially useful for independent artists who are balancing creative work with the business side of building a sustainable career.
The Mississippi Arts Commission supports artists and arts organizations throughout the state through grants, programs and professional resources. “A Day for Artists” continues that mission by giving creatives a dedicated space to learn, ask questions and build relationships that can help strengthen their work and expand their reach.
The event will take place at The MAX in downtown Meridian. Artists interested in attending can find the full schedule and registration information through the Mississippi Arts Commission.
