After a stunning loss to Kentucky last week, Ole Miss looks to rebound against an unpredictable Gamecocks team. The Rebels’ players choose what their team will wear each weekend, according to coach Lane Kiffin and this week they will tout powder blue helmets with white jerseys and pants.
Ole Miss revealed its new ‘icy’ uniform combination in June as a part of a reveal for the program’s new on-field look this season. The Rebels and Kiffin will look to hit the reset button on its College Football Playoff hopes in Columbia, South Carolina this weekend as it faces one of the more aggressive defenses not only the SEC but country.
The Gamecocks’ front seven have lived in opponent’s backfields this season with 14 sacks and 28 tackles for loss. It’s secondary has been quite the dangerous unit this fall with six interceptions (No. 3 SEC) and will be a tough test for Rebels’ quarterback Jaxson Dart.
