Chick-fil-A Princess Ball draws a packed house

The Princess Ball hosted by Chick-fil-A at the Oxford Conference Center on March 7 attracted a larger crowd than Lance Reed, owner of the West Jackson location of the restaurant, dreamed. Complete with stations offering cupcakes, candies from Holli’s Sweet Tooth, cookies, and other treats, as well as a build-your-own tiara station, the event provided a fun night out for little girls to bond with dads. A ceremony on the dance floor allowed proud fathers to place princess rings on their daughters’ fingers. Girls costumed as princesses posed for photos with the little girls, and Reed’s wife Amanda performed onstage.

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife and Fishers estimates that 1.5 million deer live inside our state boundaries. Only Texas and Michigan support more deer than Mississippi.

The Chickasaw –– Spartans of the Mississippi Valley
