Sweet structures deck the halls at Ford Center’s Gingerbread House Village

Wrapping up the year and making it through the hectic month of December can leave folks frazzled. The Ford Center at the University of Mississippi promises an escape in the quiet and calm of a magical village made of gingerbread. In what is becoming an Oxford tradition, the Gingerbread House Village is a sweet delight for the senses.
It’s not just for looking at; visitors can try their hands at constructing a confectionery creation to share with all who visit the Village. Limited openings are available for professional and amateur submission.
The Village will be on display December 5 through 20 and will be open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. On days of Ford Center events, the Village hours will be the same as UM Box Office hours.
