Christmas is just one week away, and there’s not many shopping days left. Do you still have an Ole Miss fan on your shopping list that you can’t seem to think of what to get them?
Worry, no more. Here are the top 10 Ole Miss Christmas gifts for the biggest Rebel fans.
BBVA Compass Bowl Tickets – $50
You had to know this would be on the list, and really, what is a better gift for a big Rebel fan who hasn’t already placed their order for tickets? Ole Miss has already sold over 20,000 tickets to the BBVA Compass Bowl on Jan. 5, so make sure whoever you’re buying them for isn’t missing out on the fun in Birmingham, Ala.
BBVA Compass Bowl Memorabilia – Price Varies
When the 2012 football season began, a bowl game was not in the minds of most fans, and it really was an amazing accomplishment to see this Rebel team get to six wins. So why not let them remember it with their very own BBVA Compass Bowl Memorabilia? T-shirts (short sleeve: $20; long sleeve: $28) and sweatshirts ($48) make for great gifts.
Basketball SEC Ticket Package – $149
Andy Kennedy and the hardwood Rebels are off to a 7-1 start to the 2012-13 campaign, and a veteran front court could lead Ole Miss into their first NCAA Tournament appearance under Kennedy. Make sure the Rebel fan on your list is there to see Ole Miss take on some of the SEC’s best with the men’s basketball SEC mini-pack.
Baseball Season Tickets – Grandstand ($125)/General Admission ($69)
Mike Bianco’s squad is filled with pitching this spring, so get your Ole Miss fans the gift of baseball season tickets, whether it’s in the grandstand or relaxing out in left field. There’s no atmosphere quite like Oxford-University FIeld/Swayze Field, so this will make the perfect holiday gift.
RebelVision One-year Subscription – $89
Do you know an Ole Miss fan who lives to far away to get to Oxford for basketball and baseball games? Get them a one-year subscription to RebelVision. With the subscription, you can listen to the live Ole Miss radio broadcast for every men’s basketball and baseball game and a number of baseball games are available for live video.
The Season: Ole Miss Football (4-disc set) – $50
Relive the 2012 Ole Miss football season that saw first-year head coach Hugh Freeze lead the Rebels back to a bowl game with a 6-6 year by purchasing The Season: Ole Miss Football. The 4-disc set includes a behind-the-scenes look at Rebel football through each week of the 2012 season. If you buy it now, you will receive The Season: Bowl Edition absolutely free.
Ole Miss Tailgate Tent – $250
Get your Ole Miss fan ready for the 2013 season with a brand new Rebel tailgate tent. The Grove is known as the best tailgating in all of college football, so make sure the fan on your shopping list is doing it in style next season.
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Framed Picture – $150 – $200
Spice up the look of your home office with a framed picture of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, so you feel like it’s football season all-year long. Prices vary for these prints, but the average cost for a nice frame will cost you around $150. It’s a great gift for a passionate Rebel.
Ole Miss Smartphone Cover – $30
Let the Rebel fan on your shopping list show their Ole Miss pride everywhere they go with a new cover for their smartphone. Several colors and designs are available for a variety of phones, and it’s a simple gift that a true Rebel will love.
Ole Miss Car Decal – $13
Do you want everyone to know the Ole Miss fan you are shopping for to know they are a Rebel? Buy them a Ole Miss metal car decal, and there’s no doubt everyone who sees the back of their car will see where their allegiance stands.
