“Just when it looked like the Rebels were going to be on the fence once again to make it to the NCAA Tournament, they solidified their spot to the big dance by defeating the mighty Florida Gators. Trailing by 12 at the half, senior Murphy Holloway and junior college transfer Marshall Hendrson responded in the second half with strong desire to take the title back to Oxford. With an electric crowd and belief that the Rebels could pull out the victory, the long awaited trophy is coming home.”
