Oliver L. Robinson spoke to the teens of the Boys & Girls Club of Oxford during a financial literacy workshop Tuesday in Oxford, Miss.

Robinson, known as the first athlete signed to a four-year basketball scholarship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and the first player to be drafted by the San Antonio Spurs, currently serves as an Alabama House Representative and is president of Robinson & Robinson Communications, a financial consulting firm based in Birmingham, Ala.
