One wag who drove by the new Oxford High School which is under construction, saw it in pink and thought the color was a bit much for $44 million.

But not to worry, according to Oxford School District Public Relations representative, Kelly Graeber the pink color is just an undercoat which will be covered with insulation and ultimately by stone-colored bricks.

The new building will contain 208,000 square feet and students are expected to report to campus for the first session in January of 2014, Ms. Graeber said.
