Sign Up to Support Rebel Bullpen Club, Ole Miss Diamond Girls

In just a few short weeks, Rebel Baseball will take the field again at Oxford-University Stadium. The Ole Miss Diamond girls are asking for your support of the Rebel Bullpen Club.
The proceeds go to help fund additional resources not included in the baseball budget. Some past projects the Bullpen Club helped with included building the pavilion and playground in left field, helping furnish the indoor batting facility, and providing the funding needed for the current stadium expansion. In addition, a portion of the sales goes toward the Diamond Girls.
There are three tiers of membership. First Tier is a regular membership for an individual or family and costs $25 per year. A First Tier membership includes admission to special club events and meetings, the ability to participate in club contests and promotions, receive club newsletters by email, and access the online forum.
Second Tier membership, or the Diamond Division, costs $150 per year for an individual or family and in addition to the First Tier benefits, members also receive a Nike Ole Miss Hat.
Third Tier is the Bullpen Club’s corporate membership division that costs $500 per year for a corporation or business. The corporate membership includes all of the Diamond Division privileges, plus a Nike Dri-Fit coaches’ polo and pre-game video board recognition for the business.
Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of college baseballs largest and most active support organization! Sign up today to support the Rebel Bullpen Club and the Ole Miss Diamond Girls.

2013 Ole Miss Diamond Girls

Below is a letter sent to Bullpen Club members this fall from head coach Mike Bianco:

Dear Bullpen Club,
I hope this letter finds you ready to enjoy another great year of Ole Miss Athletics, especially baseball. The team has been hard at work from the day they set foot on campus earlier this fall. There are a lot of new faces on the team this year. Of the 40 players on our roster, 20 of them are entering their first year in our program. These talented young men are a part of a recruiting class that was recently ranked in the Top 10.
To this point in the fall, we have had a few weekends of scrimmages. The first weekend the pitchers really dominated the games, only to have the tables turned on them the next weekend by the hitters. It’s very exciting to see these young men make positive adjustments from weekend to weekend, striving to be the best players that they can be. John Gatlin, Austin Anderson, Will Allen, and Preston Overbey have been great senior leaders to the freshman and first year junior college position players. Aaron Greenwood, Sam Smith, and Chris Ellis have shown great leadership as well to our new pitchers.
Two seasons ago, during the 2011-2012 Bullpen Club campaign, the goal was to reach 600 members. We fell slightly short of the goal that year, but were able to amass over 500 members for the first time since the passing of Mr. Ernie LaBarge. It became my passion, as well our executive director Donna Holdiness, to reach our goal of 600 members for the 2012-2013 campaign. We finished last year with a total of 637 members thanks to each and every one of you!
The biggest project that was solely funded by our Bullpen Club last year was the redesigning of our indoor cages. We were able to expand and improve our indoor batting cages. There is not a harder working hitting coach in the country than Coach Godwin, and by connecting and widening the cage our players are now offered much better feedback on how the ball is traveling off the bat. We also put up outstanding graphics in our hitting and pitching indoor that showcase some great former Rebels as well as many of the accomplishments of Ole Miss Baseball.
Members of the Ernie LaBarge Bullpen Club are some of our most loyal supporters, and without them, these great projects would not be possible. Please continue to support our baseball program by joining the Ernie LaBarge Bullpen Club. You may go online to the website listed below, or return the enclosed form back to us by mail. Our players and staff truly appreciate what you do for Ole Miss Baseball.
Sincerely,
Mike Bianco Head Coach, Ole Miss Baseball
