
The Ole Miss baseball team will be featured on television nine times in the 2014 season as a part of the Southeastern Conferenceās television package, including five home games and two contests on ESPNU, the league office announcedĀ on Thursday.

Ole Miss will host the ESPNĀ ThursdayĀ Night baseball game on Thursday, April 17, atĀ 6:30 p.m. CTĀ when the Rebels kick off the weekend series against the LSU Tigers. It is the first of two broadcasts for the Rebels on ESPNU as Ole Miss will also be featured on the channel in the final weekend of the regular season at Texas A&M in a game set forĀ 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16.
The Rebels will play on television for the first time in the 2014 season in game two of the weekend series at Alabama when Ole Miss and the Crimson Tide take the field for aĀ 7:00 p.m.Ā game on CSS.
Ole Miss will then play the first of four television games in the month of April with Sundayās game against Auburn being picked up by CSS. The series finale will begin atĀ 1:30 p.m. on April 6Ā at Swayze Field.
The Rebels will then play two of the three games against LSU in front of a national television audience with the series openerĀ on ThursdayĀ night being picked up by ESPNU and the series finale onĀ Saturday, April 19, being tabbed for aĀ 1 p.m.Ā start on Fox Sports Net.
Ole Miss will also be featured onĀ Saturday, April 26, in the second game of the weekend series at Kentucky with aĀ 12 p.m. CTĀ start against the Wildcats.
Two of the three games against the Arkansas Razorbacks have been picked up for television with theĀ Saturdaygame being carried by Fox Sports atĀ 2:15 p.m.Ā and theĀ SundayĀ finale being carried by CSS atĀ 1:30 p.m.
The Rebelsā final televised game as a part of the SECās television agreement will be the second game of the Texas A&M series and will be carried on ESPNU.
Ole Miss opens the 2014 season on the road with a three-game series at Stetson. The first game of the weekend series is set for aĀ 5:30 p.m. CTĀ first pitch onĀ Friday, Feb. 14.
