Errol Robinson is accomplishing something very few true freshman achieve in SEC baseball. He is the starting shortstop for a team with a legitimate shot at the College World Series.
He hails from Boyds, MD., where he played high school ball at St. Johns College High School
Robinson was born on Oct. 1, 1994, and is the son of Fred and Vicki Robinson. His older sister Jolie was a Diamond Girl for the Rebels when she attended Ole Miss.
Robinson is batting .290 on the season through 138 at bats, with 15 runs scored, 40 hits and 11 RBI.
