The Oxford Daily Crime Report for Friday, June 6
The Oxford Police Department responded to the following incidents: a welfare concern, three disturbances, three suspicious activities, a noise compliant, improper parking, an ambulance assist, two alarms, a motor vehicle assist, and fraud.
OPD also responded to seven wrecks, issued 33 traffic citations and made three arrests on the following charges: careless driving and DUI 1st; and two minors in possession of alcohol.
The Oxford Fire Department responded to three calls: one at Crosby Hall , a cancelled call Peyton Hall, and a smoke detector malfunction at the Khayat Law School.
The University Police Department responded to a hit and run at the North-Ridge building and made two vehicle stops on University Circle and Hathorn Road. UPD also responded to an ambulance assist service call at the Paul B. Johnson Commons.
