National Menswear has been a clothing landmark on West Jackson for 38 years, but now they’re going out of business.
If you’ve been around Oxford for a while you know that before Walmart and Home Depot opened their does on Jackson, National Menswear staked out the farthest reaches of West Jackson Ave. along with Ruby’s Chinese Restaurant
In a flyer, the owners said, “The Franklin family would like to thank their loyal customers for shopping with us — many of you since 1976. Thank you for your business. We’re inviting our best customers to have first choice in our going-out-of-business sale.”
By mid-October the store’s entire stock, including furniture and fixtures, will be liquidated. National Menswear says all items will be at least 20 percent off with many items 50-75percent off.
