Excitement is building around the No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels’ Oct. 4 home game against No. 2 Alabama, which has been set for a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on CBS.
This will be the Rebels’ first game on CBS since 2012 against Georgia and the first one televised by CBS in Oxford since the 2009 LSU game.
If both teams remain in the top 10 after this weekend, it will be the first ever meeting of two top-10 nationally ranked football teams in Oxford.
The Rebels (3-0, 1-0 SEC) defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 56-15 in their last game, followed by a bye weekend. Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) downed Florida 42-21 in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.
