ESPN's College GameDay Coming to Oxford, Mississippi
Rebel Nation has clamored for it, and with an undefeated 4-0 record and a top-10 ranking in hand, its wishes have been granted. For the first time in the show’s 28-year history, ESPN’s “College GameDay” built by The Home Depot will be coming to Oxford, Mississippi.
The popular college football pregame show will set up on The Grove stage in the heart of the best tailgating scene in the country. The three-hour show featuring host Chris Fowler and analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard, will begin at 8 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The current No. 10 Rebels (4-0, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) will host current No. 3 Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS at a sold-out Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
