In the second set, after falling behind 4-1 to start, the Rebels pulled to within one 8-7. The Gators then went on a 5-1 run to pull ahead 13-8 and used a 12-7 run to close out the set 25-15.
The Rebels hung tough early in the third set trailing just 8-6, but Florida used a 7-2 run to go up 15-8. The Gators went on to win the set 25-19 for the match.
Junior middle blocker Nakeyta Clair led the Rebels with seven kills. Sophomores Melanie Crow and Margaret Eggert posted five kills each.
