Ragan Freeze, a sophomore Oxford High School student-athlete for the Lady Chargers’ volleyball team, is the Charger Athlete of the Month for October.
Ragan is the daughter of Ole Miss Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze and his wife, Jill.
Coached by Oxford High School Coach Tara Ross, Freeze is already a starting player for the varsity team and brings a lot of energy to the team. Coach Ross says Freeze is a great asset to Oxford High School and the Chargers’ athletic program.
“She is a very selfless player,” said Coach Ross. “She always gives 100 percent on the floor as well as in the classroom.”  “I am very excited about the 2014 volleyball season here at Oxford and about the success our team has accomplished this year,” said Freeze.
Payton Green is sports information intern with the Oxford School District.
