47. Rebs Hop Five Spots, Bulldogs Fall to No. 10 after Egg Bowl

After a thrilling Egg Bowl in the Vaught in Oxford, the Golden Egg is staying in town and the Rebels are off to a bowl game.
Ole Miss jumped five spots to No. 13 in the AP Poll this week after a 31-17 win over Mississippi State. In turn, the Bulldogs dropped six places to No. 10 and will likely lose its place in the College Football Playoffs.
Around the SEC, Alabama hopped Florida State for the No. 1 slot after a 55-44 win over Auburn in a rare nighttime Iron Bowl. Missouri jumped to No. 14, followed by Georgia at 15. Auburn dropped five spots to No. 20, and LSU rejoined the Top 25 at No. 23.
