Ryan Moore, a 22-year-old Ole Miss undergraduate student, was allegedly punched in the face by an angry Alabama fan after the Ole Miss vs. Alabama football game Sept. 19.

Ryan Moore, the Ole Miss student allegedly punched by an Alabama fan following the Sept. 19 game in Tuscaloosa, is well on his way to recovery.

His dad, Mike Moore, said Ryan is doing great, and is expected to fully heal. “His jaw is wired shut for three weeks, but he was meeting with some of his professors today to try to get back on track,” Moore said. “I just want to say thanks everyone for the calls, texts and prayers for Ryan. The tremendous amount of support we have received has been overwhelming.”

If anyone is interested in donating to help the costs of Ryan’s surgery and recovery, please make checks out to Renasant Bank and put “Ryan Moore Recovery Relief Fund” in the memo line.
