This Saturday, November 21, Whitney Miller will be signing her new book: New Southern Table: My favorite Family Recipes with a Modern Twist at the Ole Miss Bookstore Tent from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Whitney Miller won Gordon Ramsey’s reality show cooking competition Masterchef at age 22. Dubbed the “Pastry Princess” for her talent with desserts, Whitney’s culinary gifts go beyond the sweet side of cooking.
Her newest cookbook was inspired by recipes from her family, using fresh ingredients and new methods to bring beloved recipes passed down through the generations into the modern age. The book also includes a new recipes, some even inspired by tailgating in the Grove at Ole Miss.
Whitney was born in Poplarville, Mississippi and cooking has always been a family affair. Sunday dinners with extended family, cooking with her sisters, mother and even great-grandmother inspired her from an early age. Southern hospitality underpins her latest book, as it did in her first cookbook Modern Hospitality: Simple Recipes with Southern Charm.
