49. Five UM Students Arrested After Assault at a Fraternity House
University of Mississippi University police arrested five students in connection to an assault that occurred earlier this October.
The Daily Mississippian, the campus newspaper written by students, reports the victim of the assault as Jeremy Boyle, a Sigma Pi member, who was up late doing homework at the fraternity house.
The newspaper reports that a source told them Boyle “suffered a long contusion, ruptured eardrum, several broken teeth and a concussion.”
The students have been named in the arrest:
Tucker Cole – felony assault
James Declan Basile – assault, hazing and larceny
Christian Guy – larceny
Kyle Hughes – larceny
Austin Rice – larceny
