Oxford Electric Department announced there will be a planned power outage from 7 to 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 16.
The outage will take place to relocate a pole near Belk Boulevard and Grand Oaks Boulevard. OED said customers will be affected in the Hermitage Gardens area to 1621 Grand Oaks Boulevard.
The traffic light on Highway 7 will also be affected due to the outage. Please use caution if you are traveling through this area on Saturday.
