Top high school musicians attended the 38th Mid-South Honor Band event at Ole Miss this weekend. Among participants in the top rated Symphonic Band were Jessica Googe and Matt Smith, both of Madison Central High School, Madison, Mississippi. Also attending were Jessica’s grandparents, Roger and Ronnie Googe, and her mother, Karen. Performances were held at the Ford Center.
