Stennett Receives Eagle in Charleston Ceremonies

James Thomas Stennett II of Charleston earned his Eagle Award Sunday in ceremonies at the Charleston Presbyterian Church. A student at North Delta Academy and a member of Troop 478 in Batesville, “J.T.” earned 23 Merit Badges. For his Eagle Project, he painted the Rotary Club building in Charleston. J.T. is the son of Mr. and Ms. Jimmy Stennett of Charleston.

On hand for the ceremonies were two Ole Miss alums, Carson Hughes of Jackson and Charleston, and grandfather Ike Sayle of Charleston. Both Hughes and Sayle are Eagle Scouts, the highest rank in Scouting.
